So I know what you’re thinking – WOW, there are a lot of ways to follow along with this class!
Yes, friend, you are totally correct.
That’s why we made this page, to help answer your questions and get you all the information you need to get the most out of this experience.
Instagram | By far, the number one place you’ll find us is on Instagram. We share updates, notifications on when the latest emails go out, updates and announcements. And we limit ourselves to a small number of posts per day. To make sure you get notifications when we post, you’ll want to open then app and go to our handle @littlepaperprojects, then click on the “…” in the upper right hand corner of our profile. Choose “turn on post notifications”.
And make sure to use the hashtag #LPPLoveWhereYouLive!
The LPP Blog | You can find our blog here. So we have this slick feature where we can post public blog posts (that anyone can see) and private blog posts (just for you!). The public posts are more generalized, but offer the opportunity for sharable links and enough information to entice people to want to learn more. The private blog posts are a longer, more detailed version of the public posts. They include tutorials, techniques, and other tips that will help you further your own album.
You’ll want to check back throughout the week, but especially on Wednesdays and Fridays, when we post our contributor highlight albums.
Class Forum | The class forum is a great way to ask general questions and discuss with the group, ask questions, share suggestions, connect, etc.. In the forum you’ll find a discussion for sharing blog links and instagram handles. You’ll also find our most important posts there, so you never miss anything.
Group Pinterest Board | Our group Pinterest board, is totally open to you for pinning. And, seriously, the more you pin, the better our board is! Pin inspiring quotes, photo tips, and photo examples for your project. Pin your project photos, your favorite instagram shares (you can do that using websta.me), and your favorite creative inspiration. Pin whatever inspires you – truly – the more, the better!
The best way to get the invite to collaborate is to email us firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and the email account connected to your Pinterest account.
Periscope | You’ll want to follow Jen (@sunlightandair) and Julie (@juliegagen) on Periscope, where we’ll share more insight on the project, ideas, and more! Julie will ‘scope most Wednesday afternoons, around 3pm EST. But don’t worry, if you miss a ‘scope, Julie posts hers on her YouTube channel.
Each week, on Monday morning (EST) you’ll get an email from us with a summary and links to the latest lesson, the weekly photo checklist, and a blog post inspired by the prompt. It’s our way of letting you know it went live (yay!) and gives you a single place to link from. We recommend keeping it handy, just in case you want to quick link to anything that we mentioned that week.
Phew! That’s it. I know – it’s a lot. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t worry about it. Choose one channel, and if you’re looking for more, pick another. We use a variety of different media because we all have our own preferences. Pick your favorite and do what works for you.
And thank you for joining our community of creative, caring memory keepers!
